Information we collect

When you submit a consultation form, we collect the contact and project information you provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company, project details, budget range, timeline, and limited referral or campaign information connected to that inquiry. If an advertising platform added a click identifier to the consultation-page address, that identifier may be included with the form you intentionally submit.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to your inquiry, recommend an appropriate production approach, manage follow-up, maintain business records, and understand which marketing efforts lead to useful conversations. When website analytics is enabled, we also use limited page-use information to improve the website. Submitted inquiry information is kept separate from website analytics.

Services that process information

Website submissions are processed through Netlify, recorded in HubSpot for contact management, and sent through Resend as an internal notification. Public pages may use Google Analytics as described under Website analytics settings below. Advertising tags remain off. Analytics receives registered page paths and eligible inquiry event counts, not your form answers, contact details, advertising click identifiers, or full page addresses. Google processes ordinary device and network information to provide analytics. Embedded videos do not contact YouTube until you select Play. When you do, the player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and Google may process device, network, and viewing information under its own privacy terms.

Storage, access, and retention

Access to consultation submissions is limited to authorized 55 North operators and the service providers needed to process the inquiry. Restricted advertising click identifiers are marked for deletion no later than 90 days after submission. CRM, email, and business records may be kept longer when needed to manage an inquiry, client relationship, security issue, or recordkeeping responsibility.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete information connected to a website inquiry, subject to records we need to retain for legitimate business, security, or recordkeeping purposes. We honor an active Global Privacy Control signal by discarding advertising click identifiers rather than retaining them with the inquiry. Contact hello@55northcreativehouse.com.

Website analytics settings

We use Google Analytics to understand page use and count accepted inquiries. It is enabled by default for visitors our website host locates in the United States, unless you have opted out or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. For other or unknown locations, it stays off unless you have made a valid choice to allow it. Netlify provides an approximate country determination; this check does not ask for your device's precise location.

You can turn analytics on or off here without a popup. We do not treat a regional default as your consent. An explicit choice to allow analytics lasts up to 180 days; an opt-out remains in this browser until you change it or clear its stored preferences. If preference storage is unavailable, a deliberate choice can apply only to this page visit. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps analytics off even if you previously allowed it.

When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics cookies may last up to 180 days, and limited referral information may be retained in this browser tab to identify an inquiry's source. Referral information stored under the regional default expires within 24 hours. Turning analytics off stops later events and clears analytics cookies and tab attribution. It does not remove previously recorded analytics. Advertising tags, advertising personalization and Google signals remain off. You can read how Google processes information from partner sites.

Optional form-use counts

The consultation page offers an unchecked, optional choice to allow basic form-use counts for that page visit. If you opt in, we record daily totals for form views, starts, step completions, and accepted inquiries. These totals contain only the event type, registered page route, UTC date, and count. They do not contain your name, contact information, form answers, full page address, advertising click identifiers, or an identifier linking your activity across pages. These counts are not sent to advertising or analytics providers.

Your choice stays in this page's memory. No cookie or local-storage preference is created, so a fresh page visit starts with counts off. You can uncheck the box to stop later events. An active Global Privacy Control signal keeps these counts off. Totals are kept for 30 UTC calendar dates, with older totals removed by a daily cleanup. Previously aggregated totals cannot be linked back to you or individually withdrawn. Netlify processes the requests as our website host and may process ordinary network information to deliver and protect the site; our diagnostic records do not retain IP addresses.

Updates

We may update this notice when our website or lead-handling process changes. The effective date above shows the current version.
